Bus travellers and operators are bringing cash-free payments to online bus booking platform Travelyaari on Tuesday announced a partnership with Reliance Jio and Paytm for offline payment integration. ?Travelyaari users can now pay through Paytm and Reliance Jio wallets at select offline counters. The platform is promoting cash-free payments among all its customers at select inter city offline counters with 2,000 operators across 10,000 branches on board presently, the company said in a statement.

?"Customers can pay for their tickets using either of the mobile wallets and avail of several cash-back incentives," said Aurvind Lama, a Travelyaari spokesperson.

?Integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning  system, payment options will get cashless at offline bus counters and there will be no longer be hassles of dealing with the change, thus speeding up the payment.

?The travellers can use either Paytm or the JioMoney app to dispense the exact amount required to book bus tickets.

?A Reliance Jio spokesperson said that the mobile application "JioMoney" was conceived with the aim to empower individuals to make payments anytime and anywhere.

?People all around are finding it difficult to arrange smaller denominations of currency to continue their transactions.

?The demonetization drive in India has presented businesses with an opportunity to sign up merchants and customers for digital payments.

?Paytm updated its app with 10 Indic languages and the list of merchants that support Paytm. The company, along with MobiKwik and FreeCharge, also cut wallet-to-account transfer charges. The NCPI has also waived off switching fees for all RuPay cards for ecommerce and PoS terminal transactions.
