1.Christmas Scent

INGREDIENTS
 4-8 tablespoons cloves 
 4-8cinnamon sticks
 8 bay leaves
 1 orange, sliced
 1 lemon, sliced
 water

METHOD
?First You add orange and lemon slices to dry mixture of spices. Put in a small sauce pan with 4 cups of water. Simmer on low to release the fragrance. You can simmer it in a mini (2 qt.) crock pot with the lid off for a safer alternative.
?IF you simmer it for a few hours, you will need to add more water occasionally so it doesnt boil dry. Store in refrigerator when not in use, to prevent molding. It can be simmered over and over again. 
?Always add more water to equal 4 cups before each use.
You put ingredients in a quart-sized decorative jar. Add enough water to fill jar. Add a few drops of red food coloring if desired.
? Close securely and give with a small gift tag explaining how to use it.??????

2.Christmas Mint Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 lb Melting Chocolate baking chocolate
4-6 drops peppermint extract
2 package Ritz crack

METHOD
?The Melt Chocolate over low heat
?Add 4 to 6 drops of Peppermint oil.
?You do not need alot so make sure they are small drops in Mix
?Line a cookies sheet with foil.
?Dip Crackers into Chocolate,Cover and lay on cookie sheet make sure they do not touch.??????

3.Christmas Strawberries

INGREDIENTS
green icing
1 (12 ounce) can condensed milk
1 (6 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
14 ounces fine coconut

METHOD
?Mix together, reserving 2 tablespoons of the strawberry jello powder.
?Chill the mixture.
?Shape into strawberries,roll in the reserved jello powder.
?With the green icing, make a hull at the tip of the strawberries.
?Chill until firm and get ready.??????

4.Christmas Chocolate Candy

INGREDIENTS
6 cups honey nut Cheerios toasted oat cereal
4 cups small pretzels
4 cups salted peanuts
6 cups Rice Chex
6 cups Corn Chex
2(12 ounce) bagholiday M&Ms plain chocolate candy with red & green
2 (12 ounce) bagholiday M&Ms peanut chocolate candies
4 (12 ounce) bags white chocolate chips

METHOD
?First you mix all ingredients but the white chocolate morsels in a large bowl.
?Melt white chocolate morsels according to directions on the package.
?Pour melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture and toss well to coat.
?Spread on waxed paper and let sit until the white chocolate hardens.
?Last store in an airtight container.??????


5.Christmas Punch

INGREDIENTS
4 quarts cranberry juice
4 quarts lemonade
4 quarts pineapple juice
4 quarts carbonated lemon-lime beverage & 4 quarts ginger ale

METHOD
?You pour all of the juices together in a big punch bowl.
?Add enough soda to give the punch a kick.
?The flavor of the juices is diluted.??????

INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon green food coloring
6 cups corn flakes
red cinnamon candies
1/3 cup butter 
4 cups miniature marshmallows

METHOD
?In First You melt butter over low heat.
?Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. 
?Stir in food coloring.Add corn flakes cereal. Stir until well coated
?Using 1/4 cup dry measure coated with cooking spray, evenly portion warm cereal mixture.
?Using buttered fingers, quickly shape into individual wreaths.
? Dot with cinnamon candies.??????


7.Peppermint Christmas Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon green food coloring or 1 teaspoon red food coloring (paste colouring gives a deep shade)
 3/4 cups flour
30 chocolate Hershey chocolate kisses or 30 chocolate rosettes or 30 chocolate wafers
1 cup soft butter
3/4 cup icing sugar
2 egg
2 teaspoon vanilla
4 teaspoons peppermint extract

METHOD
?First cream together butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt.
?Add coloring and mix well to distribute color evenly.
?Stir in flour.
?Shape in 1 inch balls.
?Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
?Flatten each by pressing a chocolate in each center.
?Last bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until bottom starts to brown.??????

8.Christmas Chocolate Cherry Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups coconut
1 1/2 cups chopped maraschino cherries
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups flour

METHOD
?First Cream shortening and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until well blended.
?Add eggs and almond extract, beating on medium speed until light and fluffy; about 2 minutes.
?Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
? Add to creamed mixture gradually, beating on low speed just until blended. 
?Fold in chips, coconut and cherries.
?Drop dough by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
?Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges.??????


9.Christmas Jam

INGREDIENTS
3 cups cranberries
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1 (3 ounce) packet liquid fruit pectin
1 orange, peeled and seeded
2 teaspoons orange zest (from above orange)
1 (10 ounce) package frozen sliced strawberries, slightly thawed

METHOD
?Combine cranberries and sections of seeded orange in a food processor.
?Pulse until coarsely chopped.
?Add strawberries, zest, cloves and cinnamon.
?Continue processing until finely chopped, but not pureed.
?Stir together fruit mixture, sugar and water in a very large saucepan or dutch oven until well blended.
?Cook for 2 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
?Increase heat to high and bring mixture to a full, rolling boil.
?Stir in liquid pectin.
?Stirring constantly, bring to a rolling boil again and boil for one minute.
?Remove from heat and skim off foam.
?Immediately pour into 6 hot, sterilized half-pint jars.
?Carefully wipe clean rims of jars with a damp cloth.
?Place lids on jars and screw on bands just until snug.
?Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
?Remove from water bath and cool away from drafts until jars seal.??????


10.Christmas Rum Balls

INGREDIENTS
2.5 cups vanilla wafers, crushed a 250g box of Christies vanilla wafers equals 2.5 cups
2 tablespoons cocoa
1.5 cups icing sugar
1/2 cup spiced rum (the rum is called Spiced Rum) or 1/2 cup Bourbon
2 tablespoons white corn syrup (one brand is Karo)
1 cup pecans or 1 cup walnuts, broken

METHOD
?first you sift the cocoa with 1 cup sugar.
?Stir in the spiced rum mixed with the syrup.
?Add crushed vanilla wafers and nuts.
?Mix thoroughly.
?Shape mixture into walnut sizes balls and dredge with remaining sugar or leave them plain.

11.Christmas Cranberry Salad

INGREDIENTS
2 cups apples, chopped and unpeeled
1/2 cup seedless grapes
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (I used pecans)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
2 cups cranberries, chopped
3 cups miniature marshmallows
3/4 cup sugar

METHOD
? First cover marshmallows and cranberries with sugar, chill overnight.
?Add apples, grapes, walnuts, salt and whipping cream.
?Then ready to serve.??????


12.Christmas Hard Candy

INGREDIENTS
4 teaspoons cinnamon oil and 4 teaspoons oil peppermint extract
red food coloring or green food coloring
powdered sugar
8cups sugar
2 cup Karo syrup
2 cup water

METHOD
?First Mix first 3 ingredients and boil to hard cracker stage, 300ºF.
?Add oil of cinnamon or peppermint and food coloring.
?Pour into foiled lined cookie sheet.
?Sprinkle powdered sugar over the candy while its still warm.
?Break candy in small pieces when it is cool enough to handle.??????


13.Christmas Morning Cinnamon Toast

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup sugar
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
2 loaves sandwich bread
1 cup margarine
2 egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
cinnamon

METHOD
?First You do mix first three ingredients well.
?Cut crusts off 2 loaves of sandwich bread.
?Roll each slice as flat as possible with rolling pin.
?Spread sugar, egg yolk& cream cheese mixture on bread and roll into crescent.
?Melt margarine.
?Mix sugar with enough cinnamon to make it dark.
?Roll crescents in melted margarine, then in cinnamon-sugar mix.
?Freeze on cookie sheet for 30 minutes, and then put in plastic bags.
?When ready to bake, remove crescents from plastic bags and place on cookie sheet.
