How To Cook Nigeria Delicious Food Egusi Okra Ogbono


                                                                                                                                                                  Nigeria being the mother of all the countries in Africa are blessed with many  delicious food and are very easy to prepare. Indeed, i must tell you that you will learn how to cook most Nigerian food after reading this page.


If you are a Nigerian or have visited Nigeria for the first time or another you will know what soups are used for. Soups in Nigeria serve as a common denominator for eating other food in Nigeria like Eba (garri), Fufu and Pounded Yam can not go without soup.

Starting with the Nigeria popular soups that are eaten by specific Nigeria Ethnic group. Less take the IGBO people for instance, there are lot of different foods that are reserved for just the IGBOs .
                                                                                                                                                                 

* In Nigeria, Egusi soup is likely the most popular of simple soup in Nigeria because it is general accepted by almost all Nigerians.
Another popular soup is the EDIKAIKONG soup it gained popularity because of its nutritional value and ease of preparation. This is actually one of the easiest and cheapest Nigerian soup, I remember we used to make a very small pot of okra soup with just about two hundred and fifty Naira (250), more like a one dollar soup. I like to make this soup with fresh fish, it is very delicious.  ogbono soup. This is popularly called draw soup because of its stretchy ability. Nigerian Obgono or Ogbolo soup which is third on my list of Nigerian popular soups is also easy to make and could be refrigerated for up to two weeks without losing its delicious quality.

* The last on my list of Nigerian popular soups is bitterleaf soup. Nigerian bitter leaf soup is very popular and could be made in several ways by different ethnic groups. Ofe onugbu (as the Igbo man would call it) is one of Nigeria’s most delicious soup.
