The United Nations recently prepared a report of the List of the ten  most populated countries in the world. It was discovered that many poor countries of the world are getting to the with low capita income per annual, countries like Nigeria, Uganda, Congo.




List of the ten  most populated countries in the world


1. China:

China is indeed the most populated country in the world today. The population of the country as at 1982 was 1 billion. As per the latest census report, the country reported about 1.335 billion citizens of the country.
For many years now China has maintained its position as the most populated country in the world today.

2. India:

India is ranked to be the second most populated country in the world today. With a total population over 1.27 billion citizens of India. More than 50% of the population of India is under the age of 25, and more than 65% is below the age of 35. -

3. United States:

The total number of the United States is 320,480,000 as calculated in March 2015. The made Unite State to be the 3rd most populated country in the world. The national median age is 36.8 years.

4. Indonesia:

The 2015 national census claims the population of Indonesia to be 222.111,000 million. 58% of this population lives in the island of Java, which is known to be the most populous island in the world.

5. Brazil:

The population of Brazil is quite diverse, consisting of a number of races and ethnic groups. The origins of Brazilians come from four main sources – Amerindians, Africans, Asians, and Europeans. Majority of the inhabitants of Brazil live within a radius of 300 kilometers from the coast.

6. Pakistan:

The population of Pakistan is estimated to be over 199 million in the year 2014. This makes it the sixth most populated country in the world. The Pakistani society is multicultural and multi-ethnic. It consists of the largest refugee populations in the world, and also a young population. 50% of the population resides in towns that have 5,000 people or more.

7. Nigeria:

Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, and it accounts for almost a sixth of the total population of the continent. Nigeria has 399 ethnic groups with a population of about 100,000 with different languages, custom, and traditions. The country is an English speaking country.

8. Bangladesh:

The population of the country was estimated to be around 160 million in the year 2013. Around 89% of the population consists of Muslims. This is followed by Hindus at 8%, Buddhists at 1% and Christians at 0.5%. Bangladesh is also known to have the highest population density in the world.

9. Russia:

The official estimate for January 1, 2015, reports the population of Russia to be 146,270,033.The population fell at a rate of 0.5% per year with declining birth rates, increasing death rates, and also due to emigration.

10. Japan:

The estimate was recorded to be 127,650,000 in March 2012, which makes Japan the tenth largest populated country in the world. The estimation suggested that the population of the country will keep declining by one million every year.
